After walking on slim ice and falling into a nippy pond at Siwanoy Country Club, a large husky named Jax was rescued by Eastchester firefighters.
While playing with a portion of his canine companions on the fairway, Jax fell through the ice and stalled out toward the focal point of the frozen lake.
The association said firemen showed up at the country club around 11 a.m.
In chilly water suits and using specialized ice water salvage equipment, they had the option to escort Jax securely to shore.
In a video shared by the union, firefighter Domenick DiRienzo swam toward the focal point of the frozen lake and took Jax under an arm to help him swim back to land.
Upon his re-visitation of land, Jax got a warm greeting with covers and praise from his proprietors. He is required to make a full recuperation, the division said.
Capt. Phil Pinto and firemen William Cirrincione, Paul Keindl, Vincent Debitetto and Anthony Piliero assisted DiRienzo with carrying Jax to security, the association said.
After 6 months of the rescue, the dog returns to the firefighter’s office and shows them true love and happiness and is thankful for what they did for him.
